Spending
Spending 101
- Bargain bins can be your best friend when it comes to saving money while shopping.
You can find some great, quality items and really get your money's worth. All you
need to do is spend a little time to save a lot of money. You're worth it right?
So is your hard-earned money.
- Discount food markets are popping up all over the place these days. And they've
really got some fantastic deals on superior products and fresh, quality groceries.
Meats, canned goods, produce and more are around a third of the price that the regular
supermarkets charge and most even offer a satisfaction guarantee.
- Do yourself a favor and set your alarm for those 'early bird' special sales that
the department stores run - especially around the holiday season. One or two days
rising at 4am to start shopping at 5 may sound gruesome, but the money you'll save
will put a smile on your face a long time!
- Clearance racks are not just a bunch of crummy clothes that got wrecked by some
crazed consumers. Retailers have to clear out their inventory on a regular basis
so they can restock again. Take the time to browse through those racks. You'd be
surprised at the amazing items you can get for next to nothing!
- Clip coupons and mail in those rebate offers received from purchases you make. Yes,
it can be a little bit of a nuisance, but a little time taken is a little more money
in your pocket at the end of the day - or month, especially if the item you bought
was on sale to begin with!
